There will be a collection for Sight support Hull & East Yorkshire at the match on Sunday 8thDecember and the charity will also be the recipient of the teddies from the Teddy Toss during the match. These will be utilised by the charity as part of regular Teddy Tombola which generate much needed resources to help fund our services for local people.
Sight Support HEY is the only charity which exclusively supports people with sight loss in Hull & East Yorkshire. Our mission is to improve and enrich the quality of life for local people at any and all stages of sight loss, through the provision of a wide range of support services, enabling them to reach their full potential and lead independent lives.
Sight Support Hull & East Yorkshire (formerly HERIB) have been supporting the local community for over 150 years and offer a range of services such as a resource centre, advice, supported housing and social activities for thousands of local people.
We currently support more than 2,300 local people and work closely in partnership with local authorities, other local charities and a variety of support groups to provide the most appropriate support to suit each individual’s specific needs. Sight Support HEY receive no government funding and rely on fundraising activities donations and gifts in wills to continue our work.
