The Inaugural Yorkshire Remembrance Cup

This weekend the Smailes Goldie Hull Pirates and the Leeds Chiefs will go head to head for the first chance to win silverware this season.

Saturday’s game marks the first ever Yorkshire Remembrance Cup, and this year’s Remembrance services also coincide with the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings.

During the evening funds will be raised for three amazing charities that work tirelessly to support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces.

These are: The Royal British Legion, the SSAFA and Hull4Heroes.

Alongside what is going to be a nail biting game of hockey the Pirates will also be holding our annual Remembrance ceremony. This will include a military band, special edition D-Day memorial jerseys, plus much more.

Doors open at the Hull arena at 5pm with face off at 6pm. We are expecting this game to be extremely busy so we recommend tickets to be purchased early to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to seeing you there!
